See where you actually rank
on Google Maps.

Ranklit checks your position for the searches your customers use, shows who is placing above you, and turns the difference into a short list of things to fix. Every figure is one we measured — a number we could not read shows as a dash, never as a zero.

What Ranklit measures

Each of these is a reading taken from a named source on a known date, and the product shows you both.

Google Maps rankings

Where you place for the searches that bring customers in, checked on a schedule and kept as history so you can see what moved.

AI search visibility

Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and others name your business when asked — and, when they do not, who they named instead.

Business audit

Description, categories, hours, reviews, photos, services and your website's structured data, scored with the gaps named.

Growth tasks

A short list of things to fix, ordered by how many points each one is worth. Not a dashboard you have to interpret.

Competitor comparison

How the businesses placing above you differ on the fields we can actually read — rating, reviews, category, position.

Reports

A branded PDF and a weekly summary of what changed, what it means, and where each figure came from.

One position is an average of everywhere

“You rank 7th” hides the part that matters. Ranklit asks the same question from a grid of specific points around you and keeps every answer — so you can see that you are second downtown and nowhere at all across the river.

  • Top-three coverage and average position, both over every point read — not only the ones that found you.
  • A point we could not read is left out rather than drawn as “not ranking”. The two mean opposite things.
  • Kept as history, so the covered area can be compared week to week.

Illustration, not a customer account. A dash means the business was not in the results read from that point — which is a measurement, not a gap in the data. Both percentages are over every point read, so “top three” never counts only the places you already appear.

What the software does, and what people do

Two different things, and you should know which one you are buying. Directories do not accept automated submissions; a Business Profile is corrected by a person. We say so rather than calling it automation.

The software, on a schedule

Included in every paid plan, at the plan’s cadence.

  • Checks your Maps position for the phrases you track
  • Maps where you rank across an area, point by point
  • Asks AI assistants about you and records what they said
  • Scores your profile and your website's structured data
  • Watches four directories for missing or mismatched listings
  • Drafts posts and review replies for you to approve
  • Produces branded reports and share links

People, when you ask

Quoted per job. You approve anything that goes out in your name.

  • Submitting directory listings by hand, with the live URL as proof
  • Correcting and completing your Google Business Profile
  • Writing posts and review replies for your approval
  • Fixing structured data and on-page issues on your site
  • Reviewing your report each month and telling you what to do next

Each job is tracked with who did it, when, and a link to the result — a live listing, a published post, the page that changed. We do not quote a number of citations we have not built.

Getting set up

About fifteen minutes, and the first step needs nothing from you but a name and a town.

  1. 1

    Run a free scan

Type your business name and your town. We find your Google listing, check where you place for a few searches, and show you who is above you. No account.

  2. 2

Create an account and keep it

The scan you ran is saved to your new account. The free tier tracks three keywords and runs a monthly check — no card.

  3. 3

Fill in what only you know

Services, hours, the description. Matching your Google listing fills in the rest — rating, review count, categories — and it is read-only: we cannot change your listing.

  4. 4

    Work the list

The audit turns into a handful of tasks ordered by points recoverable. Scans run on your plan's schedule and the activity feed shows each one as it happens.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ranklit?

Ranklit measures how a local business appears on Google Maps and in AI assistants' answers, scores the profile behind that, and turns the gaps into a short list of things to fix. Where you would rather somebody else did the work, our team does it and attaches the evidence.

Do you need access to my Google Business Profile?

No. Everything in the free scan and the audit is read from public Google data. Connecting a profile adds review importing and publishing once Google approves our API access; until then those parts say so rather than pretending to work.

Is there a free plan?

Yes — the Free plan is $0 and needs no card. It covers one business, three keywords, a monthly Maps check and a monthly AI visibility check. Starter, Growth and Agency are paid; the prices on this page come from the same records the product enforces.

Will Ranklit get me to number one?

Nobody can promise that, and we will not. Ranklit measures where you actually place, shows you what the businesses above you are doing differently on the fields we can read, and tracks whether what you changed moved anything.

How is AI search visibility different from SEO?

They are two separate measurements and we keep them apart. One is whether your site and profile are structured so an assistant can quote them; the other is whether an assistant actually named you when asked. A good score on the first is not evidence of the second.

Start with the measurement

Run a scan of your own business. It takes under a minute, needs no account, and tells you something true either way.
